We get a lot of questions all the time about what we do, how we help the neurodivergent population, and what sorts of things we do for businesses, parents/ carers, and others.

So, here is a collection of most common questions answered:

Product Info

  • Are all the courses for neurodivergent people?

Yes! All the courses are designed FOR neurodivergent people.

  • What topics do you have subjects in?

We have a range of subjects available from learning all about organizational skills, to emotional intelligence, or dating and relationships. More courses are being added monthly. Click on the tab "for individuals" to see more.

  • Are your courses researched and referenced?

Yes! Be Your Best Academy is proud to stand behind a strong arm of research and evidence-based works to underpin our coursework. Reference lists are provided in each course and if it interests you, please do look at the sources and read further.

  • Do the courses have lived experience?

Yes! We definitely draw on lived experience, both in sections where we show precise un-edited words of the population, and with the voice of the writers themselves. In addition, we listen to our team, so that we can be more inclusive to other aspects of the lived experience - such as in LGBTIQA+ wording and phrases, identity and mental health needs. Because we are all neurodivergent, our lived experience guides our work.

  • Why should I do a course here and not with another e-learning school?

Our courses are created by neurodivergent people for neurodivergent people, so we understand the challenges of lived experience. We also research topics thoroughly to be recent and relevant. Our prices are affordable. We offer support during the course if you need mentoring. And if you have NDIS, our courses are covered under that scheme.

  • If I buy a course, how long can I access it?

Forever. Unless specifically noted on the course itself, buying the course gives you access forever.

  • If a course says 'coming soon', how long will I have to wait for it?

We put courses on to pre-order once they have progressed to 75% complete. Generally 'coming soon' courses will be published within 2 months of the notice placed on the course. If anything changes or differs from that 2 month wait, we will make it clear on the course itself.

  • How should I work with the materials, to do "well" or get the best results?

The more you do the activities, and reflect on what you have learned, the better your results will be. You will feel more confident in your neurodivergence. Your self-awareness increases, enabling you greater control over your emotions, stress, anxiety and depression.

  • Are you covered by the NDIS?

Yes! You just need to buy a course and ask us for a tax invoice, so you can send that to the NDIS for reimbursement.
